Piano Performance in a Tunnel Music Video
Filming in the historic 235 Year old Tar Tunnel located in Ironbridge Shropshire. Pianist Alexander Toone performed a number of songs from Kate bush - Running (up that hill) to Beethoven - Sonata No. 8 Op. 13
With only 20 minutes performance time, Alexander pulled off an amazing and impressive performance!
Working closely with Ironbridge George museums to make this, Sound octopus made what seemed impossible actually happen!
How it was filmed
With strict time frames and limited power, making this video was a challenge. With only one 13A plug available we decided to run some of our Led par cans along with our computers running audio.
Using usb powered ring lights allowed us to power them with power banks, this saved time laying cables and made the lights easy to setup when on site.
Using basic cameras and equipment allowed for us to film fast and efficiently, along with capturing behind the scenes footage of the whole music video shoot.
Working with an amazing team of musicians and filmmakers who made this happen!
